AfroQuiz for Adults is a Jeopardy-style quiz competition for adults celebrating the rich history, achievements and lived experiences of people of African and Caribbean descent around the globe. Designed as a fun, welcoming event for friendly competition, this event creates space for learning, laughter and community connection while deepening appreciation for Black history and culture.
Building on the legacy of our long-running youth AfroQuiz, this adult edition invites community members to come together, test their knowledge and celebrate cultural pride in an engaging, interactive format. Participants receive study material in advance to review before the event, so everyone can come prepared to play, learn and shine.

And Still We Rise: A Black Presence in Alberta, late 1800s–1970s is a powerful resource from the Edmonton City as Museum Project (ECAMP) that highlights the long-standing presence, contributions, and resilience of Black communities across Alberta.
